17) Turf backing with poor climatic dimensional stability expands and contracts with changes in temperature and humidity, causing seam rupture and line dancing. Since Perfect Turf boasts the most dimensionally stable backing available (according to certified independent testing) we include seam and line rupture as a covered item in our warranty. Dimensional stability is one of the most important but often overlooked aspects of turf construction. A product with poor Dimensional stability will stretch, expand and contract, which can cause wrinkling and seam rupture. We are one of the only companies that tests for Dimensional stability.

18) We don't use a topical UV treatment; our fibres have built-in UV inhibitors that are mixed directly into the fibre/yarn resin. Without this process the sun's ultra violet rays will cause the yarn to breakdown prematurely.

19) Perfect Turf offers the Strongest Tuft Bind and Tear strength in the industry. Turf Bind is the force necessary to pull a grass filament (tuft) out of the backing. Tear Strength is the strength of the backing. Not only does our tuft bind and tear strength exceeds the industry standard it has the highest tuft bind and tear strength in the industry.

20) Ruptured seams can make or break a project! Imagine the nightmare of constantly repairing seams year round. We have seen just about every seaming method and adhesive product imaginable. Based on our extensive experience, we know what works and what doesn't.
